Softmatic BarcodePlus for Mac is the ideal solution if you need high quality barcodes. Applications include barcode production for package design, book- and magazine covers and dust jackets, coupons, pharmaceuticals, and other applications. This barcode software is particularly easy to use. You don't have to be a barcode expert to create compliant bar codes in seconds. Softmatic BarcodePlus is stand-alone software that does not require external components like barcode fonts.

Supported Barcode Symbologies

Softmatic BarcodePlus for Mac supports all common barcode symbologies in use today. This includes everyday retail UPC / EAN barcodes like on grocery products. Also supported are codes for warehousing, pharmaceutics and other applications. All common two-dimensional and stacked symbologies like QR cellphone barcodes, Aztec, Datamatrix and PDF417 can be created as well. Software to generate EAN / UPC retail barcodes

Softmatic's BarcodePlus for Mac creates UPC-E, UPC-A, EAN 8, EAN 13, and EAN 13 barcodes with two and five digit addon. Import the barcodes to Illustrator®, QuarkXPress, Indesign®, Xara or similar applications. Put the codes on blisters, packages, labels, boxes, coupons and other design issues intended for the retail and the POS.

Software to create ISBN barcodes

Softmatic BarcodePlus for Mac supports ISBN 10 and ISBN 13 barcodes with addons. The ISBN text is put above the barcode as prescribed by the standard. The software exports to vector EPS (Encapsulated PostScript), SVG and high resolution raster formats. Use the barcodes on dust jackets and covers for books and magazines.

Software to create warehousing barcodes

Softmatic BarcodePlus for Mac supports all Code 128 variants including 128 GS1 which is used by Amazon. Also supported are Code 2/5 Interlaved and Standard. You can also create ITF-14 barcodes with bearer frame.

Softmatic BarcodePlus for Mac will automatically generate all required check digits (linear codes) and error correction codewords (2D codes). Export formats include EPS/SVG (vector) and PNG, TIFF, JPEG (raster) with up to 3200 dpi output resolution. The software supports bar width reduction and can generate bounding box markers if so desired. For EAN family codes, Softmatic BarcodePlus supports EAN SC sizes, light margin marker (aka "sentinel") and height truncation.
